“Fabrication savages the line, three for Griffiths,” music to our ears at Bendigo on Saturday; our third runner at the meeting, our third winner… lots of happy owners and delighted staff.
Sent out favourite at her first run since late December – on that occasion having no luck out wide under a big weight from a wide gate – Fabrication enjoyed her freshen up and was impressive swamping her rivals over the final stages of the 1100m BM58 contest.
It was win number three for the daughter of former Darley shuttler Hard Spun who responded well to he urgings of Dylan Dunn who was having his first ride on the consistent four-year-old.
“It was great to see her win as she has had a bit of bad luck throughout her career,” Robbie said.
“It was nice to see everything go her way today.”
The first foal for the lightly raced Bernardini mare Country Fable, Fabrication is a half-sister to our earlier winner Fact Or Fable – congratulations to Contract Racing and the Hancock family who bred the pair.
