Winning Is Addictive!

Dec 05, 2016

Our team have been thriving in the new stables and Pure Addiction is one of those in great form, first up at Sale on Sunday racing away to an impressive victory.

Having his first run since early September, the consistent five-year-old had trialled well and was subsequently right in the market, sent out a 2-1 favourite.

Always travelling well for an in-form Max Allen, the bay sat midfield, finding the line in determined fashion. And in doing so he recorded the third success of his 19 start career, one that has seen him in the placings on a further six occasions.

Raced by a large and happy group of owners led by Pure Moral Racing, Pure Addiction was purchased by Robbie at the 2013 Magic Millions. A son of Purrealist, he is out of the Gr.2 winning Desert Sun mare Moralee.

This is a family we have had a bit of luck with, Moralee also dam of the stakes placed Karalee, in turn dam of our stakes placed mare Princeton Miss.

The grandam of Moralee was another fine mare, the Caulfield Cup and Turnbull Stakes winner Analight.
