She was up in class, distance and weight but that did not stop Love In The City recording an impressive victory at Seymour on Thursday - one that the race-caller described as "arrogant."

Always travelling nicely just off the leaders, Love In The City loomed up ominously turning, quickly reeling in her rivals - taking a clear lead with 120m to go and drawing clear to salute by a soft 3/4 length.

It was the second win in a row for the promising daughter of Ilovethiscity who was also successful second up at Mornington last month.

And there is, says the stable's Beth Schroen, more to come.

"She has come back better each prep and we had been really happy with how she trained on from her last win. That was a strong win and she was even better today - and it was a good field."

"She has always shown promise and definitely looks ready to go on with it now."

"She jumped really well," jockey Jye McNeil who has partnered Love In The City to all three of her victories. "She was able to get into a positive position just behind the speed and she travelled really nicely.:

"She extended well into the straight and she had to carry a fair lump of weight which adds merit to her win."
