Stable's 2Y0s on fire!

It was straight to the front for Bellomo at Geelong on Tuesday and there he stayed, the promising two-year-old always travelling well for Ben Melham and giving a good kick in the run home.
Saluting by a soft 1 1/4 lengths at only her second start, Bellomo appreciated a step up to 1350m having finished on strongly when second at his Bendigo debut over 1100m a couple of weeks previously.
"He is an exciting young horse," Robbie Griffiths enthused, adding that "he was great on debut and he showed improvement winning with such authority."
"He looks to be a horse who is on the way up."
Robbie has been delighted with the form of the stable's juveniles this season, noting that we have had five winners from nine two-year-old starters.
"This shows that our selection criteria is working," he said, "and it is exciting moving forward with this team of horses."
Raced by long time stable client Rosemary Thomson ("she has been with the stable for over twenty years so it is nice to be able to keep producing winners for her") with Robbie Griffiths and Peter Ford, Bellomo - a bargain $25,000 purchase - is a son of Darley's dual Group One winner Street Boss (pictured) and the Rokosz mare No Peace.
Also dam of the Listed winner Broadway Harmony, No Peace is a half-sister to the Listed Vanity winner No Mischief.
