A Commanding Victory

May 14, 2015

It was good to see Commanding Secret take to the track what she has always shown at home - the promising filly at Geelong on Tuesday racing away to a dominant maiden victory.

Always travelling well for Glen Boss, Commanding Secret sat off the leader and soon had that horse's measure as she raced clear by a soft 1 1/2 lengths.

"She has always shown talent at home," said a happy Robbie Griffiths.

"The visors made a big different and it was great to see her win so well."

"With the confidence she derives from that win she can hopefully now go right on with it."

A $200,000 Magic Millions graduate raced by terrific stable clients Craig & Kathy Pearce, Commanding Secret is, as her name suggests, a daughter of one of our favourite stallions in Commands.

A filly with outstanding residual value, Commanding Secret is a full sister to the four times Group One winner Appearance and the Listed winner Mascareri.
